Pinto pretends to be interested in what me or my sister is cooking, but its usually a plot to get our attention.
He does like to give each ingrediant a good sniff before promptly forgetting about it

You should give him the attention! Bitty and Bear like to help me cook. They watch the whole time and hang out with me in the kitchen. I was making hamburger helper and Bitty usually gets a tiny bite of raw ground turkey when I cook that, so I couldn't believe she wasn't sitting in there!

I let him sniff the ingredients, and I talk to him, but I dont like touching him when cooking though. Either to prevent hairs in the food, or putting a smell on him that he doesn't like (onion for example).
I give him lots of attention afterwards.
What's funny is that he doesn't always like pets. Sometimes he just wants attention to be looked at and talked to lol. He doesn't think we’re weird cats, he thinks hes a weird human haha
