Trump is following. He’s trying to pretend otherwise but he’s following. And unlike all of Trump’s other bad hires or hires he gets tired of, he can’t just shitcan Musk. Musk is worth hundreds of billions of dollars. He’s got a bigger megaphone. And he’s got his own brand. I’m pretty sure there will eventually be a really big and really ugly falling out between the two of them. But it will take a while to get there and the costs are potentially quite large for both of them.
Trump has sewn himself into a sack with Elon Musk, a few billion dollars, a cat and a snake, and had the sack tossed into the Tiber. That’s the story here. And it will go on for a while.

Musks megaphone is a joke. Some of us knew Musk was an asshat a long time ago, but it's more common place now.
Musk is simply good at marketing. EVs were a buzz -gets into EVs. For a while, any halfway decent articles about 'Tesla' would go viral online. -Bought Tesla. Carbon Fiber was in - wanted to make all Teslas carbon fiber. Have you seen any paid ads for his shit? -It's all media buzz, and that buzz is dying.
Fr, Musk has always ever been a dumb lucky fuck! But unfortunately they have discovered the Hungarian (our) example.! He already is, but he will the richest fuck that ever lived! He is already handling government contracts (as of handling the nasa space launch contracts)

To clarify, the buzz about Tesla was for the person. -First viral article on my website was one about Nikola Tesla. The use of it as the factory name was just a really good decision. Incidentally, an article about marijuana went viral too. -Then saw a pic of him with Rogan smoking a fatty.
He does the research and knows the hot topics.
He just bought Tesla, was never his idea.
He recognized potential and the free hype it would get.
He's not even good at marketing. Elon musk, from the day his feet hit the continental soil of the Americas. Has been a privileged little fuckup wandering around with emeralds stolen from daddy. You know, as we all do etc.
Everyone who ever knew him personally. Knew he was a mediocre apartheid trust fund baby. Just ask Peter Thiel. The people who work under him at any of his companies. His children, his ex-wives, and the mothers of his children. If he was some marketing genius. He could improve his own personal perception. But he can't.
The key to his precipitous drop in public perception. It's because he stopped being this quirky little unknown wealthy kid from South Africa. That nobody knew anything about for the most part, and was investing in things that were generally popular with people. To becoming a known quantity. Actually knowing Elon Musk is to hate Elon Musk. If you'd pulled the stolen emeralds out of elon's pockets. Sold them and gave that money to any other guy interested in technology and computers similarly at the time. They would have done as well or better.
