I'm guessing the player base is fairly low and they're trying to appease investors after their "poor performance" this year.
- By lowering their player base even further?
- If they wanted to increase player numbers surely they'd make something new instead of more micro transactions. EA seems less like a games studio but a capitalist venture of extracting the maximum amount of profit from something
