Don't want to open to do note everytime, any way to turn that to do note into widget which stick to android home screen?

I looked into this a few months ago. I'm just a user, not a programmer. My conclusion was No. I didn't find any available way to make a widget. I'd love it if there was, though. Will be watching this thread.
