Sure, if you buy purebreds with documentation or something, JFC. Anyone willing to pay $12,000 for one dog needs to be taxed harder.
It would be $1,200 though
The only reason to pay that much is if you're planning on starting breeding yourself.
If you breed yourself you're going to spend a hell of a lot more than $1,200. Especially if you plan on sending them to college.
I guess you just don't love dogs enough.
If you loved dogs you wouldn't be buying purebreds.
If your dog doesn't look like a Spanish Habsburg I don't want it.
Clearly. Maybe across it's lifetime I'd spend that but not on the adoption papers
