Meet their mom on the first date.
I met both mother and father once. They were both pretty chill, none of that "if you hurt my daughter..." stuff (we were both early 30's), but it was definitely a bit weird.
How was dating in your 30s?
It could just be me and my type, but people tend to be a bit more relaxed with trying hiding their individual quirks. There's also less of trying to impress with looks and more investing in finding people who more share common interests.
The best dates I've had were with people who were comfortable with themselves and happy to talk about their interests.
