Yeah sadly they weren't gonna be able to stay the same with their remaining products being expensive niche case motherboards and good power supplies. Hopefully the employees got good gigs elsewhere at least.
Nope. First off: They still have 75% of their old profit (at 10% of the revenue). What they gained is new opportunities: Really good PCB designers etc. are a rare breed and a valuable asset, makes much more sense to have them working on something that actually earns you money.
They cut an unprofitable market segment and are applying their resources elsewhere. How the fuck is that supposed to be a bad business decision.
