Bolivia signed a large defence contract with Iran recently, so it really depends on how it unfolds.
If it becomes a way for Iran to establish an outpost in South America it may lead to political assassinations and a regime change.
32 9 ReplyIran establishing relations with socialist regimes with a focus on minority rights is more dangerous for Iran than it is for Iran exporting any sort of ideology. I wouldn't worry about it. We're more likely to coup Boliva (again) just because of MAS than any relations with Iran.
