Slop is for gossip, the only rule for fake news is that it's OC only. I didn't think "Mark Wahlberg Claims Elon Musk’s Botched Penis Implant Wouldn’t Have Gone Down Like That If He Was Attending Surgeon" was going to set off the "I can't actually tell if this is real and that makes me upset" brigade.

I just don't find that type of post funny and would rather have them blocked at once. I was actually thinking that having the post removed wasn't helping because there wouldn't be a nice place for such posts to reside that I could then block lmao
I'm sorry that was a little harsh, the last Onion article I posted two months ago had half the comments complaining about it and apparently got reported, figured this was esoteric enough I was gonna dodge complaints.
Yeah, if the post wasn't removed I woulda mentioned that I didn't mean any ill will towards you for making the post lol - the disgusted "ugh" didn't help with the tone though I'm sure.
IMO it's weird that this type of post isn't allowed on c/fakenews, but I admit the mind of the fakenews mod is an enigma to me
It was originally just containment for Melina posting and I assume they didn't want it to just be Onion articles.
