- Difference is that @_cryptagion@lemmy.dbzer0.com is correct. If you want to raise a governance topic on whether we should ban genAI on this instance then please do so instead of trolling in the comment threads.

  Nobody said that. I said, don’t complain about AI art on an instance that’s friendly to it. You don’t have to like it, just don’t bitch about it. And sure as hell don’t call people “monsters” multiple times for not agreeing with you.
  You’re getting all defensive about it, but only one side has been consistently hostile to the other about the whole thing.

  well, you joined us, despite knowing this instance heavily supports genAI, so your continued presence here means you implicitly support genAI as well. if you didn't, you would move somewhere else.
  
  you're comparing moving instances, which is free and takes 2 minutes, to moving countries? that's the argument you want to make?
  
  I mean, if you think liking genAI makes you a monster, then hanging out with people who like genAI would make you a monster too.
