Al Ansar Allah enacted the blockade in response to Israel's genocide due to their own (along with every other signatory of the convention on genocide)'s obligation to stop genocide.
When Israel agreed to the ceasefire, they stopped. When Israel resumed its genocide, they resumed the blockade.

The US is not blowing up a bunch of civilians and the occasional member of Ansar Allah to stop slavery, nor will it be a side effect of America's actions. Do you believe Israel is bombing Gaza to liberate queer Palestinians from Hamas? That America bombed Afghanistan into the stone age to protect woman's rights? That we need to go to war with China because the US is just so concerned about the plight of the Uhygurs?

They're enacting the blockade because they're terrorists. They began the blockade weeks after the October 7th massacre, because they, like Hamas, are servants of Iran's proxy war with Israel and the Saudis.

You see, Yemeni culture requires them to be terrorists, block ships of Israel's allies, and kick puppies. They don't do it for any particular reason, they're just born hating your freedom and being mind-controlled by other freedom haters. My point is that they aren't risking their lives to enforce a blockade at random or because they're "terrorists", they are doing this in response to Israel's genocide, this is why they stopped when Israel stopped, and resumed when Israel resumed, and this is what they've been saying the whole time.
To stop the response to Israel, we should stop Israel.
