Potatoes are just fat roots, not vegetables
Vegetables are just the parts if plants that we eat. A potato is a vegetable. It's also not a root, it is a stem. The roots that's grow off of it over time are actually branches.
You're mixing botanical and culinary terms.
I'm not sure how terms differ on the context here. Potato's aren't roots even in culinary terms. It's just common misinformation.
Potato is aren't?
Potatoes are "root" "vegetables."
Potato's aren't is the most easy to decipher typo lol. Why is it considered a root vegetable?
That's carrots isn't it?
Carrots are also roots
