  • Thank god our children will now all be saved from autism, definitely for sure a fate worse than a lingering death full of suffering by contracting measles.

    • To people who never had measles due to successful vaccines against it and polio, and autism isn't curable or fixable and remains with the human condition, their "logic" is:

      • I don't recall anyone in my family or friends having measles
      • I only recall hearing autism being a thing these days
      • Signs of autism shows up when vaccines are due for health
      • Ergo, we don't need the vaccine and it makes them have autism

Meanwhile I'm perfectly fine with having my autism even if it is a "side effect" of any vaccine, because I'd rather be into my hobbies and weird trivia than be stuck with polio.

      • I have multiple autistic people in my family. I have multiple autistic friends. My daughter has autism. That these people treat it like not only a fate worse than death, but a fate worse than a long-suffering death just makes me sick to my stomach.

        • Exactly! I’m autistic, and the fact that our now secretary of health believes autism is caused from vaccines is infuriating!
