At least nighttime you just wants to play video games. When I was a young man, nighttime me wanted to go out dancing, get shit faced, get into fistfights, and paint the town red. That's a lot harder to recover from at work the next day than a late night video game session.

Well, nighttime me was an asshole of the highest rank. Daytime me just wanted to build a better life for myself. Nighttime me was trying to cope with the ridiculous difficulty and stress of that aspiration.
I'm guessing alcohol was the catalyst for nighttime you to appear, eh? Anyway, I hope you managed to make a better life, regardless of the cause.
