Deshalb steht da formal:
Die Spannung ist die Ableitung der Arbeit eines geladenen Partikels im elektrischen Feld, W, nach seiner Ladung Q,
U = dW/dQ.
Das Differential der Arbeit folgt dann
dW = U dQ (das dQ wird 'von rechts' da dranmultipliziert damit die Ableitung verschwindet).
Für die Leistung ergibt sich entsprechend
P = dW/dt = U dQ/dt = U I
(eine konstante Spannung U vorausgesetzt).
Wegen dieser Herleitung stehr der Strom I hinter der Spannung U. Da es sich aber um skalare Größen handelt, macht die Reihenfolge bei der Berechnung praktisch keinen Unterschied.
