This is how long the fight for 15 has been going on. We will finally get 15 when minimum wage should be 46 dollars
Federal government should pass legislation to make minimum wage variable by local cost of living. This should be an audit done alongside the census and adjusted accordingly. It fluctuates far too much nationally to just set a single wage and apply it to everyone equally. The cost of living in San Francisco is not the same as the cost of living in Denver, Chicago, or Boston.
