(Elden Ring)Black Steel Greathammer is incredible.
It's not a Collosal Weapon. But it hits like one. I put Lions Claw on it with Heavy Affinity and it just flattens everything. Just like the Giants Crusher. But a lot faster. Massive poise damage. I love it.

I've been rocking the black steel twinblade. That thing is amazing in a quality build.
I gave that the sacred blade ash of war with holy affinity. Makes it do waaaaayyyy more damage.
Man, you weren't kidding. Sacred affix pretty much doubled the dps on it. I'm worried about two types of damage and absorbs by bosses but I'm definitely going to try this out. Thanks for the tip!
I read the weapon description saying something about holy amplifying the power so I started experimenting a bit with it. I landed on using sacred blade to continuously apply extra holy with the special move instead of using grease. It absolutely destroys undead stuff. There may be a better choice too, since I’m running a fresh character I’m missing some ashes, but anything that gives it the extra grease aura should rock.
So here's what I just did. I kept sacred blade after testing the other sacred ashes of war. Then I changed my build to be a quality build and the weapon to be quality but sacred blade ash of war. Now I have more base dps and can use greases but also I can pump up the dps with sacred blade L2 when I need it. Also I can swap to flame skewer when I need it to keep just about the same dps. This is why I love this twinblade. Good moveset and it works with so many good ashes.
I tried crucible wings too and that was fun but seems a bit niche.
Sounds like a solid plan. Really I keep messing with most of the new weapons I find, so now I just whip this back out whenever I encounter a bunch of undead.
Wings were a little disappointing actually. Every once in awhile I would get some good hits with it, but half the time I would just fly right past the enemy and it was useless then.
