That's not true. There was a tutorial movie in the game. It even displays am input overlay. That's how I learned to beat it all those years ago.
Idk I was a kid when I played it maybe it wasn't that impossible
I remember renting that game when I was 10 or something. We tried for hours to get through that tutorial without success.
