I have to preface this with Putin sucks, and I do mean this sincerely, but holy shit the Russians know how to fight wars on the operational level. Like it was something I always studied and was aware of, but part of me always doubts the efficacy of any armed force and I was not expecting them to be rolling Ukraine as fast as they are. I guess that's what those Soviet military institutions and doctrines get you, and hopefully liberals can stfu about the Warsaw Pact having been a paper tiger.
- The actual Russian military looks 100x better at fighting than the horrible PMCs (private military company) Russia sent to Mozambique

- part of it is also Ukraine just does not have the resources to fight, and their entire country is flat with little to no natural barriers in the east. but yeah, the Russians have fucking rolled into the outskirts of Kiev in 2 days, have completely obliterated Ukrainian air defense, and not once has their advance even slowed let alone halted

  Yesterday I saw accusations of some of the twitter accounts posting updates being Russian agents with the only evidence being that they have reported on Ukrainian losses
  
  Yeah reddit was poging over an anti air battery blowing up a "Russian" aircraft but turns out it was a Russian anti air battery in kiev blowing up Ukrainian aircraft as reported by the Ukrainians
  
  Oh yeah, I definitely understand the geographical and material constraints the Ukrainian Army faces, I just mean that in a vacuum the execution the Russians have shown is like textbook Deep Battle.
