Great, beautiful summer day

I’m just sitting here in the shade with a book in my lap, not even really reading it anymore.

Feeling really positive, so popping in to make a quick post on Lemmy because I just read a comment from a very negative commenter.

Right now, there’s a soft breeze and it’s one of those perfect summer days where everything just feels okay. Sun’s out but not too hot, and I’m just thinking about how lucky I am.

Not in a dramatic way, just little stuff. Being outside. Having time to breathe. Being healthy. Having good personal relationships. Lots of caring friends.

Life feels good right now, and I’m letting it sink in. More people on Lemmy should do that instead of doomscrolling all day.
